When you enter the spacious lobby-lounge at Sakyamuna,
it's as if you have entered a different world. You are taken away
from the hustle and bustle of Ubud's colorful market town atmosphere,
and you are drawn into heaven of quiet, o peace, of relaxation -
with a comfort and pace reminiscent of a bygone age. You are surrounded
by lush greenery, brilliant colored flowers, heady perfumes, reflective
quiet. And the view is extraordinary. You are perched like an eagle's
nest on the edge of a spectacular ravine looking down on to the
picturesque Petanu Rivers. All you hear is the running ofthe river,
the calls of the birds and the other sounds of nature.

Your
air-conditioned accommodation is welcoming to the eye and the soul.
You can choose one of the six spacious double rooms or the family
suite that will comfortably suit four people. All the rooms provide
you with your own private balcony, and with unforgettable views
down to the rivers. The spacious bathrooms feature large old-fashioned
bathtubs for a luxurious soaking bath and the room has a bright,
light and airy atmosphere amplified by a generous skylight. When
you are hungry, you can indulge yourself in the spacious restaurant,
which features a delectable cuisine; the menu is mainly vegetarian,
but meat dishes are available if you ask or them in advance.

Everything possible has been done to make our stay
at Sakyamuna as relaxing and refreshing as possible. In the lobby
lounge you will find a selection of fine books and magazines for
you to read and end enjoy. The swimming pool is fed with crystal
clear natural spring water. Sakyamuna allows you to be close to
nature, yet not so far from the main attractions of Ubud. Nearby
Petulu village is famous for its bird life, with the spectacular
flight of the Herons a daily event, and the majestic panoramas of
the rice field terraces at Tegallalang are photographer's dream.
